Summary:
A leading Chinese e-commerce company is looking for a R&D Director for its office in Shanghai, China. Experienced technical leader in worldwide top internet companies is desired, experience in online business and travel industry is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
• Working with Business Department and Product Department to set up software development goals and strategy;
• Building and managing the high-performance software team (100+ people);
• Lead the team to manage, develop, design, test the company's Website and business systems;
• Responsible for analyzing the development needs and making the development plans;
• Continuously improving both development method and the entire development process;
• Managing the team, supervising the development manager, project manager, architect and test manager for technical communication and completing the task on time;
• Coordinating the communication between the team members and cross team members efficiently;
• Leading the team to build a large-scale, distributed, scalable, and efficient e-commerce site;
• Developing our new technology to achieve substantial growth
Job Requirement:
• Minimum 12 years hands-on experience of software development, and minimum 8 years team management experiences;
• Excellent execution and delivery capabilities. Complete work projects and business activities together with senior management;
• Proficient in database design, deeply understand the core technology of large SQL SERVER databases;
• Proficient in .Net or Java, Internet experience is preferred;
• Have good communication skills, coordination and team work spirit, willing to accept the challenge;
• Large-scale high concurrent access Web application architecture design and development experience is preferred;
• Has a good sense of ownership for product;
• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent discipline, Master degree is a plus
